Your child will learn to code. Not one day. Now.
TekiToki Academy is a live, online coding school for Nigerian secondary school students aged 11 to 16. We keep our cohorts small, our projects real, and and every class taught by seasoned educators.
The world your child is growing into, runs on code.
Technology is not a hobby or an elective. It is fast becoming the language of commerce, medicine, finance, and governance. Understanding how it works is becoming a basic literacy, the same way reading and writing once were.
TekiToki doesn't just teach your child to use technology.
We teach them to build with it.
Build Lab is 13 weeks, three sets, and one finished project your child actually built.
Build Lab is our flagship programme, and it is built around doing rather than watching. Every student leaves with real work they made themselves, not just a certificate but something they can point to and say "I built this." Along the way they learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript, the three languages every website is built with.
Foundations
Students learn how computers actually think. We cover core logic, problem solving, and the fundamentals of programming, explained clearly and without jargon. No prior experience is needed to start here.
Build
This is where students start constructing things. They work on web pages, small apps, and interactive projects. They learn by making mistakes and fixing them, which is exactly how real developers work too.
Ship
Each student finishes and presents a final project, something they built and can show a parent, a teacher, or a university admissions officer one day.
Optional Pathway: Cambridge IGCSE 0417
Build Lab gives students a strong foundation if they later want to pursue the Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science qualification, known as Syllabus 0417. This is something a student may go on to do, not something this programme guarantees. Whether it is the right next step depends on your child's pace, interest, and your family's goals.
People who teach, not just manage.
· Founder & Lead Educator
Educator Precious did not start TekiToki from a business plan. She started it from a classroom. She has spent years as a full stack developer and cloud engineer, but she has also stood in front of real students as a teacher, and she knows the exact moment a child decides they are "not a coding person." She built TekiToki to interrupt that moment, because she has watched it happen to children who were perfectly capable, just never shown that coding could be something they could actually do.
She wrote the curriculum and built the Build Lab framework herself, leads the team that teaches it, and teaches the 11 to 14 age group.
